The RunWalk Fitness fellowship will encourage group fitness activities and fellowship within the church community and beyond. Open to all ages and all fitness levels. This fellowship will gather twice per month, in preparation for the Running & Walking Well 5K (which will take place on May 7, 2016), with group runs and work outs. We will meet in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 9am, where we will start with prayer, stretches and a warm-up work out. Weather-permitting, we will run outdoors (pre-mapped runs of different distances). Otherwise, we will do a 30 minute group body weight workout in the MPR, followed by coffee and fellowship. Beginning in February, there will be a Couch to 5K program mapped out for beginners to follow, with the Running & Walking Well 5K as their end goal to complete. Proper running/work out attire and water bottle are recommended.  All Fitness Levels Welcome.
